Use of the Museum for Reunion or Memorial Services
Planning a Submarine Reunion?
If you have a submarine reunion coming up, the Submarine Force Museum & Library can be of help to you. Host your reunion at the Museum.
With advance notice (minimum of 3 months), the Museum can reserve space for your event, right in the heart of the Museum surrounded by the rich history and memorabilia related to the "Silent Service". Food service is available from our preferred local caterers. Guided personal tours are available. Space for speakers is available in our auditorium. The Museum is handicapped accessible.
Get the word out—Reunion information can be shared in both our printed quarterly newsletter, The Klaxon, as well as our monthly eNewsletter, and on Facebook.
Please contact the Musuem to arrange your reunion.
Memorial Services
The Submarine Force Museum and Library is available
for families of military personnel as a site for Memorial Services. The Museum is able to offer this service
as a dignified and respectful way to honor your loved one.
The site is available at no cost to families, but must be reserved in advance. We also can offer local options for modest food service to accompany your service.
Biodegradable (or retrievable)wreaths may be released in the Thames River adjacent to the Museum.
